“ Enjoyed a late breakfast with hubby at Barbosa. He had Smashed avo and eggs on toast and I enjoyed the Mince Melange. Not cheap at low $20’s each but good sized serves and very filling. Won’t be needing lunch! The chai on almond lattes were also great. No sickly syrups. It is located in a shopping centre so a fair bit of ambient noise, but easily able to chat still. If you like it quieter, choose the courtyard seats. And I can’t ever pass up the Pastel de Maya’s - still warm, totally flaky and delish! ”

“ love this deli, great selection of high quality products and fresh deli items. walking through the deli makes me want to try my hand at cooking restaurant quality fine food with specialty ingredients, shame I would still mess it up. I also really like that the aisles are not as big as supermarkets, it gives a nice cosy Italian feel. good selection of meats and cheeses, and some great Italian items, with a good mix of South African and international items. great to see they've moved to a larger spot so there more room for the deli! also a great spot for some breakfast, a little treat, and coffee! Prosciutto sandwich and baked goods are delicious. ”

“ A Coffee and Açaí Experience at Barbosa Let me share my thoughts about the new place, Barbosa, in Robina Town Centre. As someone who's had the pleasure of experiencing authentic Açaí in Brazil (spent some time there in the late 90s), I feel somewhat qualified to weigh in on this one. Found myself there after getting fitted for my first pair of glasses - yes, time marches on, doesn't it? The modern decor caught my eye, with some rather nice chairs and tables that give the place a welcoming feel. They've got outdoor seating too, but with the wind picking up, I opted to stay inside and enjoy the atmosphere. Now, about that Açaí bowl. While the taste was quite good, I have to say the texture wasn't quite what I remember from my time in Brazil. It was a bit more on the fluid side, missing those signature frozen scoops that give it that authentic feel. Think of it more as a purple breakfast bowl sitting on a bed of granola. Not bad by any means, just different from what you might expect if you're familiar with the traditional style. The coffee packed quite a punch - a bit more robust than I usually go for. A slightly larger cup or a gentler hand with the beans would've brought it more in line with my preferences. That said, I can see how some might appreciate the strength. Overall, Barbosa is a lovely addition to the area. While there's room for some minor adjustments, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Robina. The ambiance is pleasant, and it's a perfect spot for a quiet afternoon break - or "late afternoon brunch" as they're calling it these days. Worth noting: They might just need a bit of fine-tuning on the Açaí consistency and coffee strength, but they've got the foundations of something really good here. A tip from someone who's sampled his fair share of Açaí: Give it a try, but maybe have a chat with them about how you like your coffee strength. They seem like the type who'd be happy to accommodate. “ Enjoyed afternoon tea, really great coffee and all agreed superbly delicious desert. Thanks guys and girls. More recently, Barbosa at The Kitchens, Robina Town Centre has become our go to place for a light lunch when at Robina. Our favourite is a shared Reuben sandwich with fries. Enough for us and delicious! Perfect fries. Barbosa also offers a huge range of food goodies to take home. Stuff you may not see elsewhere. ”

“ What a lovely little restaurant tucked away in The Kitchen section of Robina Town Centre. The coffee was perfect and hot and the scones were fresh with a beautiful homestyle jam and fresh cream. Staff are very friendly and efficient, keeping tables clean and food came out for my party quite fast and fresh. Highly recommend and worth a try. ”
